This class experience will provide a supportive, empowering educational experience for neurodivergent young adults and those on the Autism Spectrum.
The class combines practical life skills, social communication strategies, workplace etiquette, and Reiki Energy Healing for emotional self-regulation to help participants learn to navigate daily life with greater confidence and independence.
A unique aspect of this program is the incorporation of Reiki Energy Healing self-regulation techniques. These gentle, accessible tools help participants recognize and manage stress, anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional dysregulation. Students will learn practical strategies to calm their nervous systems, improve focus, and develop greater self-awareness. These skills can be applied at home, in social settings, educational environments, and future workplaces.
In addition to self-regulation through Reiki, participants will develop:
- Social communication skills
- Conversational and relationship-building strategies
- Workplace etiquette and professionalism
- Interview and employment readiness skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Self-advocacy and confidence-building techniques
- Understanding appropriate behavior in various social and professional settings
The goal is to help students feel more comfortable and capable in a wide variety of situations while building the confidence needed to pursue meaningful employment, friendships, and community involvement.
The entire course is only $233 per person.
Parents have the option to add on discounted Reiki Instruction for themselves.

This six-week course will run from September 10, 2026 to October 15, 2026. It will be held on Thursdays from 4:00pm – 5:30pm in the Carriage House of the church.

Carol Prokop – Retired Special Education Teacher, Master’s Degree in Reading Instruction, Facilitator for Emotional Balance workshops, Extensive experience supporting students with Autism and diverse learning needs, as well as a Reiki Master Teacher & spiritual educator.
Jennifer Tarantino – Employment Specialist, BCBA and Special Advocacy Certified, Over 20 years experience in Social Skills Instruction, behavior support, &transition planning, as well as a Reiki Master.
